Paul Gilbert, guitarist of famed rock bands Racer X and Mr. Big, collaborated with JHS Pedals to create a pedal to meet a balance of stadium-sized sounds and responsive tone and volume control. The PG-14 uses a FET based distortion engine to closely capture the experience of a pushed tube amp in a reasonably sized stompbox. Along with a mid-frequency preamp to further sculpt a distorted signal to accommodate any guitar and amp combination, the PG-14 dials in unique distorted tones with speed and accuracy.
