Growing tips:
The beautiful brilliant red/white radicchio like Treviso or Palla Rossa, are often ‘forced’. Forcing means in the fall you dig up the plant, cut off the head, cut the root back to 10-12 inches and replant it in a pot, usually filled with peat moss. Cover it with a pail, black plastic, etc. to keep out light and let it regrow at 50-60 degrees (a basement works well). In two weeks or so, you will have new growth which is bitter/sweet and has that beautiful contrasting color of white stems and red leaves. Of course, you do not have to force your chicory. Just grow it and enjoy it.

Would not recommend

I literally never write reviews but felt compelled to write one for this sunscreen because I was very caught off guard by all the positive reviews. This sunscreen leaves the most insane white sheen that never soaks in and gets on EVERYTHING. I put this on and drove to the beach and had sunscreen on my car seat, the steering wheel, the center console, the door, EVERYWHERE!
It took forever to clean up and was such a hassle and that was after having let the sunscreen soak into my skin for an hour.
Also the sunscreen is really thick and difficult to spread and makes you look ghostly white. Plus, the sunscreen has a really odd odor that reminded me of play dough? That might not be a negative thing for everyone but I found it unpleasant.
There are definitely better mineral sunscreens out there. For the price I expected a much better product.

I love this product, especially my husband because it’s all-natural. It contains minerals that leave a slight white residue on the face. While it would be nice to have a clearer texture, it does a beautiful job of protecting you from the sun.
