Safari is one of the models that has been around from the start. This tent possesses the qualities and functions necessary for a roof tent to be truly exceptional. It is stable, easy to handle, and comfortable - just like a roof tent should be. With a water column of 4000 millimeters on both the canvas and the rain cover, this is also one of the tents on the market with the highest standards and comfort. Both the tent fabric and the transport fabric are water-resistant. The tent fabric is made of 320g poly-cotton canvas with Ripstop technology and comes in a sand beige color with a dark brown rainfly for the classic Africa/Safari look.

The floor is not made of the cheap layered construction found in many other roof tents but is a specially developed plastic and fiberglass honeycomb mix, which means that Safari can handle about 100kg more load than similar tents on the market. The included mattress is 140 cm wide, 240 cm long, and 7.5 cm thick.

I believe it is equal to the name brands It is 50 SPF Sun Protection Factor so it offers strong UV A and UV B protection which are the 2 ranges of sun rays that do the skin damage and burning. It is an easily absorbed lotion that when rubbed goes into the skin and is not visible. It is thick and goes on with a non shiny, non greasy, solid thick feeling which is what we need for it to stay on as long as possible. It feels good after being rubbed in in that it feels dry and not overly greasy or with no shine and sheen. It is a good product and offers burn protection to me in some clear-sky strong sun uses. Reapply after entering the pool water or swimming laps and after an hour (all sunscreen labels say reapply after 80 minutes which I believe is per recommendations of the federal FDA or some medical studies). I reapply often and I still get tanned but I do not want to burn.
