The LWP Series Jubilee Red AIAB Solder-Free Pedal Kit allows you to create an Amplifier In A Box (AIAB) pedal that captures the legendary British amplifier sound, ideal for rock guitar tones spanning from the 80s to modern times. This kit is solder-free, so you can assemble it with just a Phillips screwdriver and the included tools, making it perfect for beginners learning about effects pedals.

Please note: a center-negative DC 9V adapter is required to power the pedal, as it is not compatible with battery power.

Key Features:

  • Jubilee Red AIAB Sound: Emulates the distinctive mid-range characteristics of the legendary 50W/100W amplifier with unique control over tonal qualities.
  • No Soldering Required: Easy assembly with only a Phillips screwdriver.
  • Modern Mid-Range Control: Adjust the depth and tone of the mid-range, enabling tones from classic 80s rock to modern high-gain sounds.
  • Low-Noise Operation: Delivers high clarity and a well-defined sound, separating silent and playing parts effectively without a noise gate.

User Manual Assembly Instructions:

  1. Prepare Your Tools: Get a Phillips screwdriver and ensure all parts in the kit are accounted for.

  2. Assemble the Unit: Use the screws provided to secure each component. Follow the included assembly guide for the step-by-step process. Ensure each part is firmly in place.

  3. Power Connection: Once assembled, connect a center-negative DC 9V adapter to power the pedal.

Controls Overview

Control Knobs:

VOLUME: Adjusts the overall output volume.
GAIN: Controls the intensity of the distortion. Turning counterclockwise gives an 80s rock tone; turning clockwise increases to a modern high-gain amplifier sound.
MID: Adjusts the mid-range output. Turning counterclockwise flattens the mid-range for classic tones, while clockwise enhances mid-range for a more defined tone.
TREBLE: Balances the overall sound. It adjusts high-range frequencies around 2kHz and low-range frequencies around 100Hz to create a well-rounded tone.

Example Settings:

80s Rock Sound: Set GAIN to minimum, MID and TREBLE to 12 o’clock.
Modern High-Gain Tone: Maximize the GAIN, adjust MID and TREBLE to preference for a powerful and clear distortion.

Specifications:

Input Impedance: 180K
Output Impedance: 50K
Drive Voltage: 9V
Current Consumption: 6mA
Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 80dB Estimated
Assembly Time: 15-30 minutes

Usage Tips:

Experiment with the MID and TREBLE controls to create a tone that balances well within your band’s sound. For multi-string guitars (7, 8, or more strings), the JUBILEE RED AIAB can handle a thicker bass range without clouding the mix. Adjust the GAIN knob based on the musical style or era you want to emulate. Enjoy exploring the iconic British amplifier sounds with your new Jubilee Red AIAB pedal you have constructed yourself!

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
