Perfection Pegs are a planetary geared tuner that look just like ebony pegs but provide effortless, stable tuning and replace the need for fine tuners.

The Perfection Pegs are affixed to the pegbox, and only the peg head is moveable. The peg head controls a 3:1 ratio gear so that the string tunes precisely while the peg turns effortlessly by hand--no friction or added pressure required. With Perfection Pegs you will no longer need fine tuners!

Installation should be performed by a qualified luthier.

We sell Perfection Pegs in sets for either 4-string or 5-string violins. There are three options for peg installation:

  • Purchase a set to be delivered to you and installed by your luthier
  • Purchase a set to be installed on a violin you are purchasing from Electric Violin Shop and pay the additional labor charge
  • Purchase a set to be installed by us on a violin you will ship to our shop (choose 'Perfection Pegs + installation' above). Return shipping charges apply.

Great little watch for the money

I've just received the watch, so I can't comment on the durability. Hopefully it lasts a long time, because I really like this watch. Setting the time and date was pretty simple. And even though I knew this watch had it, I stumbled upon activating the Indiglo feature by accident. It's pretty cool, btw. Some people have commented on the ticking. The environment in which I wear the watch is never completely silent, even at home. I have to put the watch pretty close to my ear to hear it, and I have good hearing. When I do hear it, it's actually a pleasant sound to me. To sum it all up, I love this watch! I actually do a little watch collecting. This is by far the least expensive watch I own. And now, the one I'll wear the most.
