The stock base weighs in at 11.3 grams, and the new base is 2.8 grams for a weight reduction of 8.5 grams. In our testing this brought our mouse to just over 42 grams!
Installation is fairly easy with a #1 and #00 philips screwdriver. There are a total of 8 screws to remove. Check out our install guide for a step-by-step walkthrough.
In the event that you want to remove the modification it is completely reversible. The original base can simply be reinstalled, and the mouse is back to original.
